"From the 21st floor I heard this big bang, first a small hit, then a stronger one. Everything was shaking, and the windows then the doors blew up. I grabbed some of my things, I was very calm, I don't know how I did it. We headed for the exits, we got organised and we exited in a very orderly way. STORYLINE:
A small plane with only the pilot on board crashed into the 25th floor of a downtown Milan office skyscraper after sending out an S-O-S, police said.
At least four people were killed and 60 injured, Italian officials said.
Police officer Celerissimo de Simone said the pilot of the Piper aircraft had sent out a distress call at 5:50 p-m (1550 gmt) on Thursday, just before the crash near Milan's main train station.
The plane is believed to have taken off from Locarno in Switzerland, piloted by 75-year-old Luigi Fasulo.
The impact destroyed at least two floors of the Pirelli building, once the headquarters of Italy's tyre manufacturer.
Windows three floors above the main crash site and five floors below were shattered.
The windows of nearby office buildings were also broken.
Rescue teams say the building isn't in danger of collapsing.
