How to Change your PlayStation Online ID Name using your PS4 Console

Go to Settings: From the PS4 home screen, press the "Up" button on your controller to access the main menu, then scroll to and select Settings (the toolbox icon).

Navigate to Account Management: Scroll down and select Account Management.

Access Account Information: Choose Account Information.

Select Profile: Scroll to Profile and press "X" to select it.

Choose Online ID: Select Online ID. You’ll see your current ID and an option to edit it.

Enter Password (if prompted): For security, you may need to input your PSN password. Use the on-screen keyboard and select Confirm.

Enter New Online ID: Type your desired new Online ID using the on-screen keyboard. It must be unique, follow PSN guidelines (no profanity or offensive terms), and be 3-16 characters long using letters, numbers, hyphens, or underscores.
