It's mid November and the weather has forced a change of direction on our barn renovation. Having just got the first coat of paint on the upstairs ceiling and walls, it has turned so cold that we can't carry on painting and with no change on the horizon there is only one way to go forward..we need to get some heat in the building.
We were fortunate enough to get hold of a second hand log boiler a while ago and it is time to get it installed. That means moving it, no small task in itself, and getting a water supply to it. I'm going to need some assistance and my farming pals are soon on hand to help out.
