In this video, I’m building a beltless CVT transmission system that I saw on the S.CRAFT channel. This gearbox transfers power using a wheel instead of a belt. Moreover, it allows the user to fully determine the gear ratio.
First, I talk about how CVT transmissions work, then I create my own design. After the design, I print the parts with a 3D printer, assemble the system, and test it.
Finally, I talk about the non-existent industrial potential of the system.
