This video is about Relinquishment of right by a person over family property permanently in favour of one or some co sharers of the family. By this process he will relinquish his right voluntarily. This will happen with respect to ancestral property or joint family property where one or more co shares will relinquish their right in favour of the other co sharers . This can happen through a Registered Relinquishment deed before the competent sub registrar.Even in a family where head of the family pass awy intestate without will, the co sharers can opt for this. The Relinquishment deed has to be registered where the property is situated and it can be executed either by the person who is relinquishing the right personally or through his PA holder.The execution can be challenged for misrepresentation, fraud before the competent Civil Court
