Описание: NEW REPRODUCTION Federal Signal Twinsonic Clear Dome CTS With Red/Amber Cutouts And Red And Blue Sealed Alternating Bulbs. I thought this would be interesting to see what it looked like so I made a few. This dome configuration was never offered by Federal Signal. This is one of the most sought after lightbars in the Twinsonic series. Special order from the California Highway Patrol in 1972. The first C.H.P. lightbars came with two red domes then in 1973 the passenger side was changed to blue after a C.H.P. study on the effectiveness of blue lighting. California Vehicle Code required a solid red non flashing light to the front and a optional flashing amber light to the rear. To comply with the California requirements Federal cut the mirror down on the drivers side and mounted two sealed beams in its place. They then took a solid red dome and cut an amber window to the rear. This clear dome was never an option from Federal Signal. The Twinsonic lightbar was first introduced in 1967 and was the first ever fully enclosed lightbar being produced from 1967 to 1984 and have been out of production for 40 + years. In my opinion, the Twinsonic lightbar was one of the best lightbars ever produced. A lot of people have talked about reproducing these domes over the years but I have actually done it. These are hi quality polycarbonate domes that are UV resistant so they will not yellow or get brittle from age and were produced in California by one of the oldest mold manufactures on the West Coast. I had a high quality plastic injection mold designed and made. F5 is stamped in the top of the dome just like the original. These are an exact reproduction of the original Twinsonic F5 dome with the exception of me putting my initials AB on the outer lip of the dome where the stainless end cap goes so they could not be sold as original.
