Cheesy potato pops😍
Golden, crispy on the outside and gooey cheesy inside these potato cheese bites are pure comfort in every bite! The kind of snack that disappears before you know it! 🧀🥔
Ingredients:
• 500g boiled potatoes (mashed or grated)
• 2 tbsp corn starch
• 1 tsp chilli flakes
• 1 tsp mixed herbs
• ½ tsp black pepper
• Salt to taste
• Mozzarella cubes (for filling)
• 2 tbsp maida
• 2 tbsp corn starch
• Water (for slurry)
• Panko bread crumbs (for coating)
Method:
1. In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, corn starch, chilli flakes, herbs, black pepper, and salt.
2. Combine well to form a smooth dough.
3. Take a small portion, flatten it, and place mozzarella in the center.
4. Shape into round or oval patties.
5. Prepare a slurry by mixing maida, corn starch, and water.
6. Dip each patty in the slurry, then coat with panko bread crumbs.
7. Chill for 15 minutes and deep fry or air fry until golden and crisp.
