Week 4 recap of the Golden Gears 2026 season. This week the Golden Gears finished CADing our Alpha bot, and started cutting out plates on our CNC and bolting them to our drive base. This week we also did a lot of work on the business side including: polishing up our impact essay and executive summaries, making locker signs, filling out grants, getting sponsorships, creating a newsletter, creating this weekly recap video, beginning planning for our robot reveal, and making lots of buttons. We also finalized some plans for scouting at competitions this year, and further discussed potential match strategy as we believe that will be one of the biggest keys to performing well in this year's game Rebuilt.
