I've been growing my hair out for about the past 8 years - I got 19" chopped off, plus the additional inch or so from the stylist layering my hair!
I'm a born and bred Jersey Girl who's going to college in Florida as of Fall 2009. Like I say in the video, this is not the first time I've grown my hair out and cut a good length of it for charity. Also, I cut it because I felt that the shorter style would make me look older, and I will no doubt be more comfortable in Florida with shorter hair. I figure that my hair will do more good for someone else than it will for me!
