Today we unbox the newly released Trumpeter 1/48 Changhe Z-10 Attack Helicopter. Kit No. 05820.
First flown in 2003, the Changhe Z-10 helicopter entered service in late 2012. Fulfilling a similar role to the USA's AH-64 Apache or AH-1 Cobra helicopters, the Z-10 would be an esoteric addition to the discerning helicopter modelers' collection. Secretly designed under contract by Kamov and manufactured by the Changhe Aircraft Industries Corporation, the Chinese People's Liberation Army currently operates about 208 units.
