Sir David Attenborough, renowned broadcaster, writer and naturalist, delivered the Vice-Chancellor's Open Lecture at the University of Cape Town on 13 April 2011. The lecture, titled "Alfred Russel Wallace and the Birds of Paradise", was on the long-running collaboration between naturalists and scientists Alfred Russel Wallace and Charles Darwin.
The video shows extracts of the lecture, without the audiovisual material used by Attenborough which we are unable to show due to copyright issues.
