Описание: Does this old tape recorder still work? I was gifted this vintage Orion cassette recorder quite a few years ago. I believe it was found at a yard sale. I recently dug it out and decided to give it a try.

This style of tape recorder was very popular back in the 70s and into the 80s. I remember them very well. I recall pretty much every manufacturer sold tape recorders: Philips, Sony, Sanyo, Panasonic, JVC, and many many more. I had never heard of Orion before. Do you know anything about this company? If so, please leave a comment!

My very first tape recorder was similar to this one. It was a Sanyo. I enjoyed playing with it for hours and hours.

Quite often, I find that old or retro cassette decks have to be tuned up, and have maintenance performed on them. I always found that many internal parts, especially belts and rollers, would often age and wear out.
