Driving on your own without any help is a crucial skill for passing your driving test. During your driving lessons and mock tests, you should be able to drive a route to the best of your ability. If you ever need help, your driving instructor will be there to assist you, just like on the actual test.

My personal standard for a mock test is to see no more than three minor marks. This is because getting three minor marks in the same category can result in a fail, and one major fault means an immediate fail. The driving test examiner can also intervene and cause an immediate fail. Remember that every instructor has their own criteria, but if you can ace a mock test independently, you are ready for your driving test!
