Based on the nonfiction book The Corner: A Year in the Life of an Inner-City Neighborhood, this series takes us deep inside West Baltimore, following the lives of families struggling with addiction, survival, and love in the midst of poverty and systemic neglect.

Episode 2 continues the story of Gary McCullough (T.K. Carter), a former family man battling drug addiction, Fran Boyd (Khandi Alexander) trying to hold everything together, and their teenage son DeAndre (Sean Nelson) — caught between the streets and a future he can barely imagine.

You’ll also recognize faces tied to The Wire legacy — including Clarke Peters, Lance Reddick, and Wood Harris — building the foundation for what would later become one of TV’s most iconic dramas.

🏆 The Corner went on to win three Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Miniseries, and remains one of the most honest portrayals of real life in America’s inner cities.
