The Niger Delta Sports Festival 2026 ended in grand style at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, with a colourful celebration of unity, culture and sporting excellence.
The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, represented by his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, thanked the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for delivering a memorable and impactful sporting event for the region.
The Managing Director/CEO of the NDDC, Chief Samuel Ogbuku, PhD, commended the athletes for their resilience and sportsmanship, urging them to continue striving for excellence.
