The way Rush works is that for every 20 chums, 1 goldie spawns. Sadly, Snatchers can spawn in the place of Goldies, meaning you could go 5 or more seconds without a Goldie if you're unlucky.
With Grizzco Slosher, it's important to filter the chum in straight lines and not kill the Goldie too far away from basket unless there's downtime to run eggs. There is a limit of 32 possible enemies on the field, so it's important not to reach it otherwise no more Goldies will spawn.
