Harvesting Purple Molokai, Okinawan Purple. and Other Sweet Potatoes

Описание: We use sweet potatoes around the edge of our garden to help keep Bermuda grass out. It works very well, and as a wonderful side benefit, we get to enjoy a nice harvest of sweet potatoes. This harvest was the sweet potatoes that we grew next to our straw bales. I was especially impressed by how the Purple Molokai and the Okinawan Sweet Potatoes did. The Purple Molokai is very dark purple inside with a dark skin. The Okinawan Purple Sweet Potato has an Ivory colored skin and is light purple or lavender inside. We also had some more traditional colored sweet potatoes in this harvest. I'm already looking forward to growing more next year.
