We Conquered the Most Famous Arch Hi… in the Dark | Arches National Park

Описание: What do you see when you hike Delicate Arch in the pitch black at night … then kept going?
This EPIC adventure in Arches National Park takes us from dark, flashlight-only trails to sunrise views, hidden tunnel arches, and some of the biggest stone giants in the desert.

Our day starts with a night hike up the Delicate Arch Trail, using headlamps to follow reflectors and avoid getting lost on slickrock. After sunrise, we head deeper into the park for more hikes along the Devils Garden Trail, reaching the massive Landscape Arch and scrambling into the primitive section of the trail.

From there, we take the spur trail to Navajo Arch, a tunnel style arch with a small desert pond underneath, which is perfect for photos and a quiet break in the shade. On the way back, we step out onto a narrow rock point with a long drop-off for one fearless photo.

We finish the day in the heart of the park at the Windows Section, hiking the Windows Loop Trail past North Window, South Window, and Turret Arch, spotting the Parade of Elephants rock formation, and ending at the towering Double Arch, which is the tallest arch in the park!

Before leaving, we stop by the Arches National Park Visitor Center to grab a souvenir or two before heading off toward our next national park adventure. Forget hiking in the forest, we're hiking in the desert for that real hiking ambience.
