"Lawndale Lifestyle" host Christine Bou Sleiman MS, RD and her special guests discuss the importance of quality after school programs and the positive affects on students well being.
Guests include Karen Cantrell, LESD's After School Program Consultant and Stephanie Batiste-Williams LESD RAP Program Supervisor. Chef Lissette Bravo and her student chefs demonstrate how to cook up healthy and delicious "Turkey Tacos Verdes" and Coach Latarrin Sheppard shows us a quick and healthy workout that everyone can do.
The "Lawndale Lifestyle" the TV Show is produced by the Lawndale Elementary School District and has been made possible through a grant from the Lawndale Cable Usage Corporation and the Lawndale Cable Commission and in partnership with the Los Angeles County Library in Lawndale.
