In AVN blood supply of head of femur is compromised which may leads towards death of head or ball of femur .
common Causes of Osteonecrosis are
1.Overdose steroids
2.Over use of alcohol
3.hip Dislocation
4.Neck of femur fracture
Disease progression is monitored througFicat 4 stage method.
Treatment
1.conservative
which may includes Pain killers ,Biphosphonates, active rest and physiotherapy
2.core decompression
3. Hip replacement
