Aabante sa susunod na deliberasyon ang dalawa sa apat na impeachment complaints laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte matapos itong ideklarang “sufficient in form” nitong Lunes, Marso 2, 2026.
Samantala, isinantabi ang unang reklamo matapos pagbotohan na lumabag ito sa one-year bar rule. Habang ang ikalawang reklamo naman ay binawi ng mga naghain nito, at sinabing susuportahan ang ikatlong complaint.
“With 22 votes in the affirmative, and 10 votes in the negative, with zero abstention, the chair [sets aside] the first impeachment complaint, De Castro et al impeachment complaint on the ground of violation of one-year prohibition period,” saad ni House justice committee chair Gerville Luistro.
