MODS:
Capricorn Bowden Tube: https://amzn.to/2PucTDD
Stainless Steel Nozzles: https://amzn.to/2EpeQee
3D Printer Silicone Sock: https://amzn.to/2PT7bd8
Athorbot Build Surface: https://amzn.to/2Pt7sF0
KISS Slicer: http://www.kisslicer.com/
Settings: (Bowden)
Retract Distance: 6.5mm
Retract Speed: 50 mm/sec
Travel Speed: 200 mm/sec
For those that will ask, I forget to mention in the video is travel distance for retraction which I pretty much leave stock as I have found the three setting [above] pretty much yield high quality prints for me. Other settings I have played with for marginal gains are:
1. Wall Order - This can assist in keeping the nozzle printing more rather then travelling, as well also keeping it over the part verses open travel. The downside to this can be wall quality as well as increased print times.
2. Keep Nozzle Over Part - This can have various names in various slices and the idea is the same as above in that travel is kept over top of the part the stringing hid inside the infill. Worth is if possible this should be disabled for Skin Layers to avoid the stringing becoming embedded in the skin. The downside of course is an increase of travel time.
3. Turn on Ironing - while this is a CURA thing, I have found it does provide modest result and is worth but it again will cost more time so would suggest reserving it for finished parts only.
