In 1999 the 26th A.G. M. and relating rally of the 71/4 Gauge Society was held in Northern Ireland for the first time, and,1, in true Irish fashion, was a
week-end which lasted seven days!
The Belfast & County Down Miniature Railway Society hosted the event at their splendid Drumawhey Junction railway located at Donaghadee.
Over 60 locomotives took part in the event, and this video captures the essence of that week-end, as well as showing some of the many other local attractions.
