What sound does an Isanosaurus (see thumbnail) make? Nothing remotely like the soft drawn-out sussush-sound of a page being turned, that's for sure. But today, we're going to imagine that dinosaurs sound a lot friendlier than they do in the movies.
We're flipping through two dinosaur picture books that I got from the library. The majestic, prehistoric creatures are depicted vividly and very in your face. Although the subject matter may seem a bit fierce, I guarantee that the page turning sounds are gentle and soothing enough to rock you to sleep.
Both books have lovely, thick and glossy pages, so page squeezing came naturally. I hadn't even planned on doing it, my body made me.
