Adorable Baby Chimp's First Outdoor Adventure With Mom!

Описание: Chester Zoo Baby Chimp On His First Big Adventure !
It's a beautiful warm spring day on chimp island
Alice takes advantage of the mild weather and brings her baby outside, giving him his first significant experience and adventure outdoors since he was born at the famous zoo in late December 2023
All is going well the chimps are relaxed and are enjoying time together bonding with Alice and the infant, until ... Carlos gets hungry and agitated and proceeds to cause trouble amongst the troop
With commotion ensuing Alice is aware that baby could be vulnerable and quickly takes him indoors away from Carlos's rampage!
Carlos and the chimps are fed at regular intervals throughout the day and they are very aware when feeding time is approaching. The alpha Carlos will only calm down when he gets his lunch and then calm will be restored !
As feeding time approached Alice decides to venture back outdoors with baby clinging onto her sparse belly hair. Alice is partly bald from her head to her mid section due to alopecia and possibly over grooming - she is a popular high ranking chimp and gets a lot of social interaction and grooming from the other chimps.
She continues switching between the indoor and outdoor areas until feeding time
Alice is an experienced mum and has a 4 year old daughter called Annie
It was nice to see many of the chimps looking out for Annie's welfare on this visit
It seemed that they were trying to give her plenty of attention in an attempt to stop her from feeling left out while mom Alice was busy looking after baby !

Sadly the baby chimp is now deceased, due to unknown causes *

The zoo has an incredible record for animal baby births over its long history and the chimpanzee group their are having a baby boom at the moment! this incredible baby birth comes shortly after baby Jeff's first birthday!
The Chester Zoo Baby Birth makes the troop population at 21
comprising of 8 Males and 13 Females
