The all-new Jeep Compass has been completely redesigned inside and out. The crossover features a new engine, new transmissions, new all-wheel drive systems, and new infotainment and safety technology. The new Compass is the replacement for the outgoing Compass and discontinued Patriot models.
The all-new 2017 Jeep Compass comes equipped with a Tigershark 2.4-liter I-4 engine that produces 180 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive models come equipped with a new nine-speed automatic and have an EPA-rating of 22/31 mpg city/highway; a six-speed manual transmission is also available but hasn’t been EPA-rated yet. Front-drive models come equipped with a new six-speed automatic that delivers 22/30 mpg or the six-speed manual transmission.
