A mod which was more like a full game than a simple carset, Grand Prix 1979 brought all the teams, drivers and circuits to rFactor. Dubbed "Grand Prix Legends 2", or the Ground Effects Simulation, GP79 was instantly one of the most popular mods and served as a blueprint for many future projects. Covering the dynamic 1979 Formula 1 Season in stunning detail, GP79 still lives on to this day with its many conversions to more modern platforms such as Automobilista and rFactor 2.
