Hi guys! Here it is a quick DEMO of my amazing Ibanez RG 550, upgraded with the pickups that were mounted on the Suhr Guthre Govan signature guitar: SSH+, ML standard, SSV! :)
I used the cab simulation of the Multiamp, so no real cabinets/mics were involved.
I used just a slight EQ via software.
GENERAL CHAIN:
Ibanez RG 505 - DV Mark Multiamp (pre FX) - MESA/Boogie TriAxis (amp) - Multiamp (post FX & cab sim) - Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (from the unbalanced output of the Multiamp)
All the presets were enhanced by stereo delays etc..
Almost all the distorted sounds were boosted trying to replicate a "Suhr Koko Boost" vibe, which I think it's one of the major key of the Guthrie sound!
TRIAXIS PRESETS:
lead 2 green - ALL
lead 1 red - scooped metal tone
