The Government of the Republic Korea has donated 4,896 metric tonnes of rice produced in Korea to the the Government of Namibia.
The handover ceremony was done through the office of the prime minister and the donation is expected to be distributed to across all 14 regions to those in need.
Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare added a note of thanks to the government of Korea. "A friendship is not only in times of good but also in times of darkness and we are very appreciative of this donation" Ngurare stated.
