Concept:
Look back through history and all the worse cases are where dictators and authoritarians have taken hold. Sometimes by force, and people can not stop it, but often through cunning and deception, increasingly so in today's world. They invent an enemy through lies and exaggeration, then make people sacred of this apparent enemy and then they say 'we are the only ones that will save you from them'. Some flag waving and hat wearing and the masses believe them, only to later find they have been fooled, duped. These people has a lust for power and to provide for the few that are useful to them, often the rich and powerful, not the common person as they once promised.
Authoritarianism is worryingly on the rise in the western world at the moment and this is what has inspired this song. If you look back at history you will see the same has happened again and again - history repeats itself. 'History is what will be' is a lyric.
