All About Dat Base #9 - Splash

In this video, I show you how to make a splash base for your miniatures. You can use the water texture techniques in this video for all kinds of base, and to create lots of different effects.

You will need:

Bases in your chosen size
Small piece of cork bark
White, texture pumice
Grey coloured primer - I use Citadel Mechanicus Standard Grey
Paints for drybrushing the rock - I used Citadel Dawnstone, Administratum Grey, and Terminitus Stone
Your chosen colours for paining and drybrushing the coloured part
Vallejo Still Water
Vallejo gel water texture
Invisible thread
Tiny glass beads
...a LOT of patience!
