Happy Saturday everyone! Here's a route visual on the Platinum route X51 from Walsall Bus Station to Birmingham City Centre, Lower Bull Street via (stops in order) Town Hall, Six Ways, Jesson Road, Travelodge, Queens Road, Bell Inn, Chapel Lane, Great Barr Scott Arms, Beeches Road, Perry Avenue, Aston University and Moor Street Queensway.
The X51 is a really cool limited stop route, it's just a shame all the dual carriageway sections are only a depressing 30/40 mph...
If you want the stopping bus all the way from Walsall to Birmingham, then get the 51. The 51 stops at every single stop, and takes just under an hour end-to-end. The X51 takes a tiny bit over half an hour end-to-end! Quite a big difference, and obviously, the 51 doesn't go down into the cool tunnel sections... ;)
The X51 is run out of the WA (Walsall) garage, using Platinum spec ADL Enviro 400 MMC E40Ds, at a daytime frequency of every 10 minutes. This was filmed at about 8 o' clock though lol
