Cincinnati Children's hosted this live, online Q&A for parents of infants and children born with Hirschsprung disease. During the event, our co-hosts, Jason Frischer, MD, and Lyndsey Jackson, RN, BSN, CPN, answered questions from families online in real-time.
Hirschsprung disease is a complex condition that can cause severe constipation and many related complications. The Peña Colorectal Center at Cincinnati Children’s is a leader in the surgical management and ongoing care for infants and children with Hirschsprung disease.
We treat patients with Hirschsprung disease from birth through childhood, and have the expertise to treat complex cases, such as those involving Hirschsprung-associated enterocolitis, chronic constipation and incontinence.
