When they step outside, Pooh spots Owl’s handsome bell-rope and suddenly remembers where he’s seen something just like it before… Eeyore’s tail! Owl didn’t know it belonged to anyone and had taken it home by mistake.

Pooh gently takes the tail back, and Christopher Robin nails it on in exactly the right place. Eeyore is so happy he actually frisks around the forest, waving his tail proudly, while Pooh goes home for a little snack and hums a proud song about being the one who “found the tail.”
