Описание: Food justice asserts that ALL communities deserve access to nutritious, culturally-relevant, safe, and affordable food. But what if you’re in a prison or jail? How do spaces of confinement present unique challenges in accessing food and what are the impacts to individuals? Part of our Justice Education Series panel, this discussion, “Chew on This: Food Justice Behind Bars” was held on September 17 at 6PM. In it you will learn more about how organizations are advocating for the right to healthy food in carceral spaces. Our panelists include Daniel Rosen (The Coalition for Carceral Nutrition) and Heile Gantan (Impact Justice).
