There is evidence that there may be a closing gender gap in cannabis use, and that levels of use may be related to attitudes towards cannabis. This webinar will discuss population trends in Australian cannabis use and attitudes towards cannabis legalisation between 2001 and 2013. While there have been several changes in policy surrounding the legal status of cannabis and its medicinal use internationally since 2000, policy in Australia has remained largely static. This webinar will compare Australian and international trends, and how these might be related to changes in policy towards recreational and medicinal cannabis use.
It will lead to:
Understanding of trends in cannabis use and attitudes in Australia and internationally.
Understanding of how these trends may be related to recent policy changes surrounding recreational and medicinal cannabis use overseas.
