This video contains unedited footage of various FMVs that play on Disc 1 of "Seinfeld" for the original Sony Playstation. Information on this oddity from the 90s is very scarce. I believe that I'm the first to upload any footage of this game onto Youtube, and this isn't even gameplay footage. That's unbelievable to me, considering that Seinfeld is one of the most popular television shows of all time.


Unfortunately, my Playstation 1, 2, and 3 were all unable to play the discs. This footage was acquired via de-compiling the data on the game disc. Weirdly, this process took multiple attempts, as my computer would frequently crash when the disc was on the tray. At some point, my hard drive gave up and stopped working. I needed to buy a whole other computer. The disc was not damaged in any way, nor did my de-compiling methods stray from the norm. I have no explanation for these issues, and given the game's extreme obscurity, I couldn't find out if it was related to my methods or the disc itself. Gathering data from the other discs has been a fruitless endeavor as of now, but I will try to conquer this labyrinth of a game.


Textures and other data were completely inaccessible. This game is a fortress of programming and technical design. I don't even know what genre this game is, and the FMVs certainly don't help me on figuring it out.

Surprise! I finished this video. I think it turned out pretty well! This YTP took so long for multiple reasons. One was technical issues. My hard drive really did take a shit during this, so I had to go ahead and abandon nearly everything I didn't have saved. Second was real life stuff and distractions. I won't go too much into that, but I'll just say that a lot happened. I graduated while I was making this thing after all. Third was because of procrastination at some points. We've all had that.


Nevertheless, I'm very happy with how this turned out. I hope you all enjoy!


And yes, I will keep making YTPs. ;)
