Finding the right school for your child can seem like a daunting task. In addition to deciding between co-ed vs. single-sex, K-8 vs. K-12, small vs. large schools, parents must also consider whether a traditional or a progressive education is right for their family. However, in today’s educational landscape, it can be challenging to figure out what it means when a school says they are a progressive institution. In order to gain a comprehensive definition of what progressive schools look like, please join a panel of Admissions Directors from several independent schools in New York City, as they share information about their schools and answer frequently asked questions about progressive education. The panel will provide you with a clearer understanding of what attending such a school looks like in New York.
