I had the day off of work and even though it was brutally cold (-30 wind chills) I spent a couple hours on the BNSF Mendota sub in Mendota, IL getting both morning Amtraks plus a Eastbound BNSF mixed manifest. The Westbound Amtrak Carl Sandburg had a ALC-42 charger normally used for the long distance trains in the lead and the Eastbound Amtrak Illinois Zephyr with a Phase VII P42DC leading. Considering the cold both Amtraks were on time or slightly behind. Enjoy and don't forget to comment and subscribe!!!!
