Toronto is unfortunately not getting any cheaper. Everything is going up, from the real estate, to our faith in robots, and especially the prices in food. A lot of Toronto’s authenticity comes from these cheap, unique restaurants, and if these places keep disappearing in flavour of more condos, and gentrified modern establishments, this city will lose its character, and more importantly, the people who shaped made Toronto who it is today. It’s up to us to keep supporting these Torontonian staples.
