A Washington State Trooper was hit and killed while investigating near the Port of Tacoma

Описание: Washington State Patrol (WSP) have announced that one of their own, 29-year-old Tara-Marysa Guting, was struck by a driver and killed while handling a collision along State Route 509 on Friday evening.

Trooper Guting was responding to a call for a collision near milepost two on SR 509, before she was then hit by a driver and ultimately died from her injuries, according to Chief John Batiste of WSP.

The driver responsible stayed on scene and spoke with troopers, and Tacoma Police officers, and Batiste added that no one was taken into custody.
