• Started gymnastics at 13 just to learn a backflip
• Began coaching at 13½ when my instructor didn’t show up
• First year coaching competitive: athlete won every All-Around, 2nd at state, 1st at regionals
• Let early success go to my head and struggled for years after

• System grew the gym 300% in 2 year and led to opening a second location
• Focus shifted from coaching athletes to developing coaches and systems
• Now run gyms that operate on their own using those systems
• Dedicated to helping coaches avoid my mistakes and build scalable success

The key takeaway I’ve learned in 25 years is that winning is a byproduct of growing one’s capacity while avoiding burnout.
