Pune–Bengaluru Corridor: Faster Commute unlocked!

Описание: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has delivered a significant infrastructure overhaul at the critical Chandani Chowk Junction in Pune (on the busy Pune–Bengaluru corridor of NH-48), radically easing one of the region's worst congestion points. This comprehensive project, which is already operational, successfully tackled the exceptionally high volume of traffic converging from multiple directions. The centerpiece is a newly constructed flyover, now inaugurated and actively improving traffic dispersal, drastically reducing commuter waiting times, and strengthening connectivity across this vital corridor.

Beyond the flyover, NHAI executed integrated works including approach road widening, geometric road improvements, and upgrading allied traffic structures. Collectively, these integrated structures have dramatically enhanced the operational capacity and safety of the junction, ensuring smoother, faster mobility for all road users in and around Pune.
