Global Shipping Watch was an open access pilot platform developed by SEI that assesses the role of individual ships, cargo types, traders, carriers, and countries, in driving maritime shipping emissions, and in leading practical efforts to reduce them. It allowed for a data-driven analysis of existing bottlenecks and barriers for decarbonizing maritime shipping.
