Описание: Explanation of how the fuel injection system works on Springfield gas engines. This particular 2hp engine is believed to have been built around 1904. The Type A engine design went on the market around 1894 or 95. While fuel injection had existed in some for about 20 years, the addition of the overhead camshaft made this a revolutionary engine design. Unfortunately it also made the engine very expensive to produce and likely forced the company out of business around 1906.
