Conclusions about the LDS church may seem true, accurate and factual but they are only accurate or factual insofar as the data, assumptions, inferences and theories are reliable. One needs to look at the quality of the data as opposed to the conclusions. One must learn to recognize that first the data is reliable (based on appropriate scientific principles which are confirmed and reviewed) versus just accepting conclusions wholesale. Evaluate these claims and conclusions before accepting them and assuming they’re true. Hold them in cautious disbelief, suspension, and evaluate the source data yourself.
