Neben der Vision 2020 der Universität St.Gallen bilden die Erfahrungen des Studiums die Grundlage für den HSG-Film. Themen wie die internationale, aber auch regionale Ausrichtung der HSG, Forschung und Praxis, Innovation und Kreativität sowie Persönlichkeitsentwicklung und Studentenleben kehren als zentrale Elemente im Film wieder. Zugleich zeigt er: Die Universität ist auch eine Schule fürs Leben.

Zahlreiche Protagonisten - darunter Rektor Thomas Bieger, Prorektorin Ulrike Landfester sowie die HSG-ProfessorInnen Miriam Meckel, Torsten Tomczak und Thomas Geiser - standen für den HSG-Film vor der Kamera.

The film is not only based on the University's Vision 2020 but also on the experience of studying. Issues like the HSG's international but also regional orientation, research and practice, innovation and creativity, as well as personality development and student life, appear as central elements in the film. And at the same time, it shows: the University is also a school for life.

Numerous protagonists - among them President Thomas Bieger, Vice-President Ulrike Landfester, as well as HSG professors Miriam Meckel, Torsten Tomczak and Thomas Geiser - faced the camera for the HSG film.
