I had a lot of fun performing this high energy #dawless jam on my #elektron #analogrytm. When I perform live I find the first or second performance always being the most authentic and natural, so it's always important to have my audio and video recording set up to capture these takes, as they are usually the best ones.
I incorporated several looping tracks using my #roland RC-202 with live vocals that primarily focused using a heavy vocal fry that is pitched way down, with phasing, delay and lots of stuttering, purposfully making the lyrics mostly intelligible.
Everything was recorded live onto my #Tascam mixer, with the exception of some panning of the vocal track, and increasing the volume in Premier, as I've made previous video that always seem to be too quiet. Well, not anymore! This is definitely my loudest, and fastest recording to date. I've listened to it on headphones, studio and laptop speakers and I'm still very pleased with how it came out. I hope you enjoy it too!
