Описание: Welcome to the very first episode of Iconic, a series where I show you some super cool painting techniques and art hacks, based on some of your favourite artists and their work! This is a mashup of a Style Study, a Technique Tryout and a regular step-by-step art tutorial, to create a super-video that hopefully helps you guys level up using tips and tricks inspired by some of the most popular digital artists. The best part? I’m gonna show you this in Krita, arguably the best open-source painting software out there!

I’ll show you how to pick highlights based on skintones, where to place them, which edges to blend, and how to create that textured, painterly highlighted effect that makes your digital character art look like a traditional oil painting!
