After getting to meet CAPCOM representatives at Gamescom this last year. I was lucky enough to receive a review copy for one of the biggest games to drop in 2026. And just so happens to be one of my favorite IPs when it comes to gaming. Resident Evil is a house hold name when it comes to survival horror. And after the release of Resident Evil 4 on the Game Cube. It also became a house hold name in Action adventure. Then despite its few small missteps in game direction. It pivoted with Resident Evil 7. saving the franchise and birthing itself back into the genre that made it so popular. And after many years we are here. With arguably one of the most anticipated Resident Evil titles to date.
I got to play nearly 45 hours of the game. Completing it 4 times. On my 5th run at the time of posting this. And this is my personal review of the title. Spoiler free so you can preserve your own experience.
